Blending an iphone, diamond and everything unexpected!?




iPhone can be used to make phone calls, surf internet, take picture and a lot of more. We place them anywhere - in our pocket, bag, car – basically where are we are. But have you try to place your 24/7 must-have gadget in the blender and do you have the courage to press the ‘start’ button so it would blend? Answer is obviously NOT!

Tom Dickson who appears on the all YouTube video has only one question in his mind: WILL IT BLEND? In my opinion, the appearance of Tom Dickson gives more credibility, authenticity as well as additional interesting value to the YouTube video. Unlike those other usual advertisements who use celebrity or famous person, Tom Dickson does not have the best presentation/acting skill on show.  This video has created an internet phenomenon in which they are spread rapidly through free word of mouth and social media channel like internet blogging. The successfulness of this video is based on the creative and innovative idea of demonstrating and marketing their company’s product and the engaged popular culture on Internet by creating buzzes worthy content. Most importantly, this way of advertisement is entertaining (encourage customer engagement), they also require low budget compared to those paid advertisements on television. This strategic advertising aligned their social and viral efforts with their company product and brand goals.
